wednesday,12 september. a day to the zoo! though we have been to the zoo more times than we can even count, deep down, a tiny bubble of excitement has just burst, known only when the day slips by. each group was given a set of questions to complete. our group moved around the zoo, glancing at the animal discription to see if anything rang a bell. we also had quite an interesting encounter while at the kangaroo enclosure. we saw the kangaroos line up andhoped over the low fence to the other side! astonishment and amusement was written all over our faces when we saw it. after walking around for a little while more we headed to the splash amphitheatre to watch the performance put up by the sealions and penguins. after that we headed off to the next destination which was at the elephants of asia. there, we got to see what the elephants do at work. it was totally spectacular.last but not least, we went to the children's animal kingdom to watch another performance. but sadly, there was not enough time. thus we began to head back to the entrance where we had some free time to ourselves before we got on the bus, back to school.
